Harbor Towing & Fleeting, a family-owned business since 1970, has established itself as a reliable and efficient logistical resource for towing and fleeting services in the Ports of New Orleans, South Louisiana, Baton Rouge, Morgan City, Houma, Gulfport, Pascagoula, and Mobile. Our operations are centered around the Star Fleet facility in New Orleans, one of the most well-known and respected inland barge facilities in the region.

Our History

Founded by Gerald D. Clower in 1970, the company has grown significantly over the years, expanding from two vessels to four state-of-the-art tugboats and redeveloping 4000 linear feet of barge fleeting space. The Clower family's vision, now in its third generation, remains focused on providing a safe, efficient, and personalized service to our clients.

Meet Our Leadership Team

Gerald E. "Jerry" Clower, President and Owner, has been instrumental in shaping the company's values and operations. With a Bachelor of Science degree from LSU and a background in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves, Jerry continues to be actively involved in the daily operations of the business. Todd G. Clower, CEO and Owner, joined the company in 2006 and has played a key role in the growth and development of the company, overseeing day-to-day operations and leading compliance programs.
