Founded in 1945 by Joseph Chester "Chet" Korycki, our company started with a simple mission: to provide reliable and dependable towing and recovery services to the people of Orange and Goshen County. Our Origins

The story of Chet's Garage began during World War II. Joseph Chester "Chet" Korycki, known for owning one of the largest trucks in the area, readily stepped forward to assist local farmers whose vehicles became stuck in the challenging black dirt landscape. Word spread quickly about Chet's willingness to lend a helping hand, and soon, farmers from all over began relying on him to pull out their trucks. This exceptional service and reputation eventually inspired Chet to design and build his own wrecker, marking the official birth of Chet's Garage.

From those humble beginnings, our company expanded its reach and services beyond towing. Our heavy-duty wreckers and equipment proved invaluable in assisting with construction projects throughout the region, further solidifying our reputation as a go-to resource for any heavy lifting need.
