Towing Recovery Professionals

The Towing and Recovery Professionals of Maryland (TRPM) have an interesting and complex history, going back almost 45 years. At that time, there were already four county towing associations in existence in Maryland serving Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Montgomery County. During the mid-1970s, a group of towing industry professionals recognized the need for a statewide association to provide a unified voice for the industry. After several years of planning and preparation, TRPM was officially established in 1979.

Since its inception, TRPM has been dedicated to the advancement of the towing industry and to the professionals who make this industry their career. Over the past 20 years, TRPM has been successful in helping to redefine the image of the professional towing owner and operator. Today, TRPM is a strong and vibrant organization with more than 150 members, representing some of the most respected and well-known towing companies in Maryland.

The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall management and direction of TRPM. The officers and directors are elected by the members of TRPM and serve two-year terms.
