Our History

Our story began in 1933 when Captain Tim Parker stepped onto the deck of a barge on the Black Warrior River. At the time, the Great Depression was at its peak, and jobs were scarce. However, Captain Tim saw an opportunity and seized it, eventually purchasing his own boat and launching his own company. Over the years, Parker Towing Company has grown and expanded, but our core values have remained the same.
