Southside Towing & Recovery, Inc., is a proudly Bemidji-owned and operated business with a legacy dating back to 1971. What started as a humble Phillips 66 gas station with a modest two-bay repair shop has blossomed over the years into a comprehensive towing and automotive service center. Throughout our decades of service, we have remained dedicated to providing the highest level of professionalism, trustworthiness, and affordability to our community.

Rodney Burnham, the founder of our company, instilled in us the values of hard work, dedication, and customer satisfaction. He guided Southside 66, as it was initially known, through its formative years, nurturing its reputation for quality service and reliability. Rodney's son, Paul, joined the family business at a young age, learning the intricacies of the automotive and towing industry from the ground up. Paul proudly took over the reins in 1996, upholding the unwavering commitment to excellence that had become synonymous with Southside Towing throughout the years.
